Mooresville, NC Landscaping & Lawn Care

Our yard and equipment are in Mooresville, which in practice means the crews start their day here. It is also the most varied of the towns we cover: newer large-lot subdivisions on one side, lakefront on another, and a good deal of older housing stock in between.

The thing that separates Mooresville work from the rest is scale. Half an acre and up changes what makes sense: ride-on rather than walk-behind, sprinkler zones that actually have to be planned, and enough open ground that drainage problems have room to become visible before they reach the house. Large lots also tend to be where outdoor living projects get ambitious, because there is space to put a patio somewhere other than immediately off the back door, which is usually where it should have gone anyway.

New-build properties here come with a particular problem worth naming: the soil around a recently finished house has been driven over by heavy machinery for months. It is compacted to the point where water sits on top of it. Sod laid straight onto that will look fine for one season and struggle from the second onward.

Half-acre and up

Bigger lots change the mowing: different equipment, different scheduling, different pricing.

New-build compaction

Ground driven over during construction sheds water. It needs breaking up before anything is laid on it.

Room to design properly

Space to put the patio where the afternoon light is, rather than wherever the back door happens to be.
